PURE RIVERS ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR

The Anglers' Conservation Association - incorporating the Pure River Society - plays a unique role in the fight against pollution. It is the only body which takes polluters - industry, farming, even the water authorities themselves - to court and uses the damages it wins to restore polluted water to health.

The work of the ACA is conservation at its most practical and effective, it benefits not only anglers but everyone who loves the countryside.

Above all, it gives the wildlife whose very existance depends on pure rivers - plants, insects, animals and fish - a fighting chance.

Nowadays, no stream, lake or river can be completely safe from pollution. No other organisation fights the threat as single-mindedly and as successfully as the Anglers' Conservation Association. Do we really need to ask you to give us your support ?
